Why pushing harder keeps backfiring…

This is for all my wonderful women here.
It’s Women’s Health Week—and if you’ve been running on fumes, this one’s for you.

We’re told to take care of ourselves.
But no one talks about how hard that is when you’re already carrying so much.

Holding it down at work.
Showing up for your family.
Taking care of everyone else—even when you’re the one burning out.

And in so many professional spaces, women are expected to prove themselves twice as much…
While still managing everything at home.
Still showing up strong. Still pushing through.

I know that role well.

I used to think I just needed more discipline.
That if I could push a little harder, I’d finally get it right.

That’s what I learned in my old life as an attorney:
Push through the exhaustion. Deliver. Perform. No matter the cost.

But my body kept the receipts.

Eventually, it forced me to listen.

Because pushing harder only works when your body feels safe.

When your nervous system is overloaded, discipline turns into pressure.
And pressure doesn’t create health—it creates burnout.

That’s why the work I do now is different.

It’s not about perfect habits.
It’s about restoring trust in your body.
About routines that feel like relief—not another performance.
About honoring your capacity, not punishing your limits.

If that’s what you’ve been craving—especially this week—I’d love to support you.

To your thriving,
